December 23, 2013 - AREA KIDS A LITTLE WARMER WITH DONATION OF HATS

The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (IMM) recently donated over a thousand winter hats to local charities. In 2013 all runners and walkers who crossed the Monumental finish line were given a distinctive winter hat, along with a finisher's medal, to commemorate their achievement. October 29, 2013 - $122,000 IN DONATIONS AWARDED TONIGHT AT PACERS HOME OPENER

The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (IMM) will present checks tonight totaling $122,000 to IPS Education Foundation (IPSEF), the Simon Youth Foundation, and College Summit. The presentation will take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse during half-time of the Indiana Pacers home opener. October 28, 2013 - HISTORIC STAGE SET FOR OLYMPIC CONTEST AND WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (IMM) on November 2 will play host to two runners who are both running to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the marathon. A time of 2:43:00 is needed for Colleen De Reuck, age 49 and Alana Hadley, age 16. The 6th annual Indianapolis Monumental Marathon (IMM) will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Four events will be offered: a full 26.2 mile marathon, a 13.1 half marathon, a 5K run and a Kids Fun Run. July 30, 2012 - INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENTAL MARATHON TO PRESENT MAJOR DONATION TO IPS EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The board and staff of the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, along with Bob Brody, president and CEO of Franciscan St. Francis Health, will present a check to the Indianapolis Public Schools Education Foundation just before the Indianapolis Indians game August 7 at 7 p.m. The donation of $68,250 is one of three totaling $105,000 the organization is giving from proceeds of the 2011 race, to benefit charities serving urban youth and particularly those that impact Indianapolis Public Schools.
